New to sewing? This ribbon-bedecked cushion cover is a great starter project. The instructions are clear and simple and the result very effective.
For the true newbie, I would advise choosing wide ribbons, or even just one or two placed together at one edge of the cushion. You don't want to get stuck in a never-ending ribbon-sewing nightmare and put yourself off needlework for life...
