Why am I such a sucker for cake stands? I cannot - in all honesty - conceive of a time when I would actually use one, but still they mesmerise me...
It must be the pretty patterns and the promise of cake baking (and eating) and the echo of wafer-thin sandwiches cut into tiny triangles... And did I mention the pretty?
