Amber Karnes is a graphic designer and keen crafter. In addition to publishing her website My Aim Is True, she helps to run the 7 Cities Crafters; a collective of indie artists and crafters based in Virginia.
All this, and she manages to keep a deliciously bright and colourful craft room, too. Hop over the cut for some lovely details from Amber's creative space.
This art line is a great way of displaying photos and pictures. You can use it as a place for family snaps or as an ever-changing mood board. I like to collect images that inform and inspire my current project, and this would be a perfect method of displaying them. Amber created her art lines using Deka curtain wires from IKEA - cunning!
A detailed shot from the shelving unit. Why? Because I'm a sucker for ribbons and it is just so pretty.
Thanks so much for sharing your craft room with us, Amber!

I'd quite like to move in to this room. It is absolutely stunning, well- organised, bright, colourful and inspirational - everything that my home and I will be when I grow up.

Love the pretty colours. And you've solved my button storage problem - I must get some jars like that.

Thanks Kathryn and Camilla. I know - I am very envious of the colours in this room... Perhaps I could paint a panel of blue behind my desk?!
