Have yourself a retro washday, or perhaps make some dolly peg dolls with your little ones... You can make a (very) simple dress with a scrap of material with a hole cut in the middle to fit the peg through. Tie ribbon or wool around the middle to form a dress, use a pipe cleaner for arms and draw a face on with felt tips.
